The Garden State Council is sponsoring a day for Cub Scouts and parents at Pine Hill Scout Reservation on Oct 17th.
This day has been a fun day of activities and exploring in past years and I recommend it for Cubs.

While not an organized Pack activity, we encourage Cubs and their families to go and enjoy the day.

Attention Cub Scouts, Parents & Pack Leaders! Cub FUN Day Registration is NOW OPEN!
The FUN Starts at 9AM and runs all day till 4PM on Saturday, October 17 at Pine Hill Scout Reservation in Berlin. This is an exciting and FUN event designed specifically to help you and your Cub Scout jump into the new FUN Cub Scout year of FUN activities! This is also a recruiting event, so be sure to bring your sons non Cub friends and show them the FUN they are missing! Siblings can participate in the FUN too!
Some of the FUN activities you will find at Cub FUN Day are Fishing, Rain Gutter Regatta, Pine Wood Derby, Pumpkin Decorating, Metal Detecting, BB Shoot, Archery, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Cub Mobiles, Water Toss, Lasso-a-Steer, Gaga Ball, Crafts, Ring Toss, Police and Fire Department apparatus, Board Skis, and other FUN activities! Meet the Lakewood Blue Claws Mascot “Buster” at 11 AM. We will also have Jamboree On The Air, where your son can talk with Scouts at the other end of our council or the other end of the world via amateur radio. Information on the new Cub Program will be available too! That’s a lot of FUN for just ONE day!
Bring your own lunch or purchase for a nominal fee at our Commissary. Stay all day, or come and go as you please. This is a rain or shine event.
We have doubled our capacity for BB Shoot and Archery, however there is still a limited capacity for these two events. Time slots for BB and Archery will be assigned on a first come, first served basis at the main gate. For safety reasons, Lion age youth cannot participate in BB and Archery.
The fee for each youth is $5.00 and one canned good. Adults, just another canned good.
